1 3/4" Stainless Steel Top

This base features a durable 1 3/4" stainless steel top that can hold up to 730 lb. Equipped with a marine edge, the unit's top helps to contain drips and spills for easy cleanup.

Two Drawers

This refrigerated chef base is equipped with two drawers to hold your cold ingredients. Each drawer in this unit can hold up to 1 full size food pan and (3) 1/6 size food pans (sold separately).

1/5 hp Refrigeration System

The refrigeration system uses a 1/5 hp compressor and R-134a refrigerant to cool the cabinet. It requires a 115V electrical connection and uses electronic temperature controls to keep ingredients at safe temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit.

Stainless Steel Construction

The cabinet is made of 20 gauge stainless steel inside and out for added durability, and it has a matching aluminum back.

(4) 4" Casters

For greater ease of cleaning, the cabinet rests on (4) 4" casters so that you can move it away from the wall.

Removable Drawer Gaskets

Each drawer gasket is removable for easy cleaning and maintenance.

The CBE-36 offers refrigerated storage space for a total of two full size, and six 1/6 size food pans underneath, while the larger CBE-52 holds six full size foods pans. Both two drawer models can support up to 730 pounds on top. For even more storage and prep space, the four drawer, 72" model withstands up to 11 hundred pounds, and can hold eight full size food pans below. The Avantco refrigerated chef bases feature electronic temperature controls, you're prepared food and ingredients will be held at foodsafe temperatures between 33-41 degrees Fahrenheit. With a combined work space above and refrigerated storage space below, you can improve working conditions, reduce labor costs, and speed up prep time for faster service. Each Avantco chef base has a 20 gauge stainless steel interior and exterior. The marine edge on the stainless steel top helps prevents liquids from spilling and dripping over the edge for an easier clean up.     drawers sense gap full Front fit fan everything design Configuration

    Configuration of the drawers makes no sense. You can fit a full hotel and 3 1/6 pans but theres a gap in between. Therefore the items are not snug in there so everything falls out of the bottom. Stupid design of drawers. Otherwise the refrigeration works well.

    Not a big fan. Front wheels don't lock. They layout of the drawers doesn't make any sense and doesn't let you utilize the whole thing.
