    Cream molds horns mold clean horn Great Ateco's seams allow

    I made cream horns at my bakery. These worked ok, but after they are washed, they almost immediately rust! The puff pastry sticks to them also.

    Thank you for the review, Cheryl. Although these are stainless steel, they are not stain proof. We recommend drying these thoroughly after use and placing in corn starch to remove any remaining moisture.

    Ateco's cream horn molds are very well built. Solid construction and no seam for the baked puff pastry to get stuck on (which would break the delicate tubes). I don't clean mine with water, just rub them clean after use. If you insist on wet-cleaning then put them in a cooling oven to dry or they will rust.

    I'm pleased with the Ateco 6 3/8" Cream Horn Mold. The mold itself is well made and sturdy. The seams are smooth. There is a small hole in the bottom of the mold. I think this will make the mold easier to clean. My only problem with the product was that I got it confused with the other cream mold that is sold in sets of six at the Webstaurant Store. I ordered two thinking I would get a total of 12 molds, but only got two single molds... It's not really worth the time to work with just two molds, so I guess I'll need to order some more of these!

    What's great about these cream horn molds is that they are very durable and make it very easy to make cream horns. Try making cream horns without these and you'll be in the weeds.
