We have ordered these pizza peels many times due to the fact that they split in half. Our employees like to cut full sheet pan pizzas right on the wooden peel. As a result the peel splits with the direction of the grain. Perhaps where the glue seams are. All though the overall mill-work is satisfactory & the shape and finish is great, our complaint is that they do not hold up to the wear and tear of a pizzeria.

Thank you for your review, Manolis! We are sorry the pizza peels have not been lasting as long as you would like. If the wood is causing durability issues, consider this American Metalcraft MP1826 18" Square Pressed Pizza Peel, a heavy duty peel that is easy to clean.
