Keep hot food fresh, moist, and delicious for hours with the Alto-Shaam ED2-48/P self service heated display case! Its attractive exterior matches the profile of many refrigerated display cases too. The ED2-48/P model comes with 4" legs instead of a base, making it easy to add to a customized serving area at your cafeteria, buffet, or deli. Its self-service design features a 47 5/16" wide front opening so your customers can easily access your food.

This 48" wide self service heated display case features Alto-Shaam's Halo Heat system, which provides a gentle, radiant heat source for your food. The result is no cold or hot spots, or air movement to dry out your food. Plus, there's no steam to fog up the glass or create additional hassles like drainage or deliming.

The Alto-Shaam ED2-48/P self service heated display case can hold up to three full size food pans. Two individually managed base heat zones with indicator lights allow for precision control of temperatures. The six, shatter-proof overhead lights are also divided into two zones for better temperature management.

The Alto-Shaam ED2-48/P self service countertop heated display case features two tinted and reflective tempered glass sliding doors on the operator side that reflect heat back onto the food and allow easy access. A 10" x 36" operator-side work shelf makes it easy to add or remove products.

This self service model includes a self-serve pan insert and two wire pan grids. The 48" wide Alto-Shaam ED2-48/P self serve heated display case is UL Listed. For additional details, capacities, and installation requirements, please consult the Specification Sheet.
