How can I properly care for cast iron surfaces?
In order to prevent unwanted build-up of oils, grease, and food, surfaces should be cleaned after use while still slightly warm. Harsh chemicals or scouring pads should not be used—only hot water and a cloth or sponge are needed. If some areas require extra cleaning, a mild scouring pad can be used. Please refer to our Pan Seasoning Guide for further information on properly cleaning and seasoning cast iron surfaces.

    Do not let the cost fool you. These are great little cast iron skillets. I will be using for fajitas later this week and am excited to try this for other skillet options. Most likely will purchase several more. These will serve any restaurant or home cook well.

    Perfect size for single servings and good quality. It's nice to have smaller pans on hand like this so that we don't dirty some of the larger pans for small portions of food.

    Outstanding cast iron skillet. Use them to get perfect sear on scallops. The small size is able to warm up quickly and not overly heavy to handle. They come seasoned and require very little maintenance for a cast iron pan.

    This is a small cast iron skillet (8") so it's perfect for small jobs that will serve one or two persons at a time. You can use it just as you would a larger cast iron skillet. No surprises here, just a great little skillet, perfectly adequate for small jobs.

    Doesn't get any better than a basic cast iron pan! Perfect size for omelets, grilled cheese, a small steak. They look good enough to use at catering stations. Classic.
