It is sharp and helps me cut thin like a mandolin. While the blade does dull quickly it is very easy to resharpen and when it is sharp, it is razor sharp. Great blade for the money!

My mother has a pair of these, and if I keep them sharp for her when I visit they are sharper and better slicers than anything in her other full set. Knives dont need to be expensive to have a good edge. A 7 dollar knife with a decent edge cuts better than a 100 dollar knife that has gone dull.

Very sharp out of the package, but got dull quick. Just had to sharpen it and it worked great again. Use this knife everyday in our operation.

My first Santoku knife that I feel comfortable with. I have a set of chef knives that cost in the hundreds, and this knife was delivered to me sharper and balanced way better than my knives I have. Love it for cutting vegetables and potatoes without it sticking to the knife. It's a great buy. A knife every cook should have.

This Santoku knife is the greatest knife. I love working with this knife. It slice's tomatoes and vegetables so good. I don't have any problems, The handle is very comfortable in your hand's The blade is very sharp.

Good basic kitchen knife. The design helps to reduce fatigue on your hands if you are used to more traditional knives... I don't get any blisters using this one.

This is my favorite chopping knife. I use it for chopping fine onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, and ect. It is really sharp, and easy to clean.

Sharp, sturdy, comfortable to use, cheap enough to not worry about using every day. Has very slight ridges on the side of the blade that work well to keep food from sticking to it.

definetley a sharp knife but not the best santoku. it is durable and useful but i think the wusthof is a better choice for the long run. however this is a great product for the price

This knife is sharp and makes cutting easy. It slices easily through tomato skin which can sometimes be tough with a dull knife. It also is bigger than I thought which is nice for the price.

In the sea of options of knives, this is good option for an affordable santoku knife. We don't use it on a regular basis, but for basic fruit chopping, it gets the job done.
