I got this tenderizer a month ago. It is of good quality and construction. Not as heavy as these were in the past but of sufficient quality to do the job

You would be surprised how lite it is! But works it purpose. If you don't pound like crazy (which you not suppose to anyway) it would work good for you.

Ordered this economical product to see if we could get by. Used once and the head broke off. All in all you get what you pay for so I'm not all that surprised. Won't buy again

This tenderizer was not as heavy as I thought it would be, but I have to say that it gets the job done! I use it when I'm preparing pork, and I must admit that my pork chops are always tender, and the marination is able to soak right into the meat!

Not as heavy as I had hoped but for the price they will work just fine. We pound hundreds of chicken breast a week so we really just needed something sturdy enough to last.

I love this tenderizer. It is great for tenderizing steak for braciole and also to make chicken into thin cutlets. The price is also relatively low so it is very affordable.

Yes, this is a steak tenderizer, but we use ours to break up ice in the ice sink, which is what we bought it for. Works great.

Perfect for when you need to get a real small cutlet. It is also great for items tht just a little light tenderization. Also a good equalizer against a stuck grill grate.

This is great for tenderizing tough cuts of meat. I wouldn't suggest it for thin or delecate meets like veal or lamb loin. But it is great for things like flank steak or flat irons!

We have two of these in our restaurant. We use them for our steaks and pork chops. Also use them for our chicken products. Works real well, and is relatively cheap.

we bought one for tenderize our chicken and veal, the metal head is heavy and good to use. only negative part is the wood handle easier to break.
