- Utensils with wooden handles are not dishwasher safe; exposure to hot water can cause the wood to warp or splinter. These items should be hand washed and dried thoroughly. For optimal results, use a wood conditioner periodically to prolong the life of the wood.

The pastry brush bristles tend to fall off and get in the cake or pie which can be challenging. It works fine on certain products.

Worked great for 2-3 years. The handle and brush now separate but can easily be fixed so no big deal. Good utility brush, we use with butter/oils.

This 2" boar bristle pastry brush is very well made. The bristles don't fall out and the wooden handle is very strong. Hand wash though due to it being wood. I use these for all my pastries in my bakery.

This is a good, general, all-purpose pastry brush. I mainly use if for moistening breads, and it works well. I would recommend this product for general use.

this little pastry brush is more than a pastry brush in my kitchen,i do alot of baking,I use this for egg washing on my pastry, i even use to spread out spices while seasoning my chicken, i use it for the last barbeque sauce spreading on hot stuff, sometime i dont feel comfortable using the rubberlike one that i have,,I also use to dust out excess powder sugar on fondant ,being using for a year plus now,

This is a good quality brush. The bristles have not fallen out, like many lesser quality brushes do. And there is nothing to rust, so no worries there. Since the bristle stiffness is perfect, I can use this to brush excess flour from delicate pastries, or to egg wash breads. Would definitely buy again.

A number of restaurant supply stores sell other brands of pastry brushes that are uneven and kind of rough looking, and we are talking brands with huge national recognition that are incredibly expensive. I saved 50 percent and received a higher quality brush that works like a dream and had that even appearance I was looking for. This is worth every penny.

Love this brush. It can get into the nooks and crannies of an intricate braided bread, tart shell, or lattice work on top of a pie without damaging the dough or leaving marks. Clean it gently and dry thoroughly, and it will last for a long time.

I have owned a set of these for about a month now an have had no problems with them whatsoever. They cleanup very nicely and are very delicate in brushing. I suppose for the price, if they do ever give me any trouble I can cheaply order a new set.

This is a pretty decent pastry brush. If you use it a lot the bristles start to fall out. But I guess that is to be expected anyways.

I am up and down about these brushes. All the ones I have purchased have fallen apart in a couple of months or less. BUT, I did use them everyday, and they are relatively cheap.

Hard to find good quality brushes for pastry milk wash, etc. I do not like the plastic brushes on the market. Highly recommend these professional brushes for your baking and cooking needs.
