We had nothing put trouble with these. Platform is very bouncy which slows production. Platform screw was constantly coming loose and wobbly. We bought several of these and within less than a year, they all become broken and unusable one at a time as the internal mechanisms failed. All around horrible purchase and very poor quality. All of my other purchases from Webstaurant have been great. This is an oddball.

Thank you for the review, Jared! We're sorry this purchase did not work out for you. We suggest trying this Taylor TP16 16 oz. Compact Analog Portion Control Scale instead!

While it is sturdy and we do use it your not going to get exact portions with this as the needle floats out of position quite often.

Good and accurate scale for the price. A plus is that it does not require batteries or an outlet. Also it has a very easy system for calibration.

Having ice cream for sale, proportion consistancy is very important. This is a accurate scale. It is handsome and well built. All I could ask for in this type of scale!

With food prices going through the roof it is critical to have a portion scale. We never used one because it was always us cooking. But when we hire new people they tend to have a heavy hand. Of course, they're not paying the food bills! It is a perfect scale for lunch meats. It is much bigger than it seems on the website but in my small place I still managed to fit it right next to the slicer.
