Love this China Cap! Our main use is to reheat pasta for each dish, and to reheat 1/6 pans of rice, which only takes less than a minute in hot water in a pot on the stove. We use to use the microwave to reheat rice, but takes to much time and uneven heating. This works perfectly in the hot water!

I give this a 5 but with a word of caution, this thing is HUGE. I ended up having to buy another smaller one because this one is far to large for me to be able to use in any reasonable way. (If you are working in a large professional kitchen that may be a different story, but far to large for my use in a school kitchen). So be sure you consider the size you need and measure it before ordering.

Good material - fits nicely over the comp sink for straining things for a 20 quart pot. Will have this in the kitchen for a long time.

Thick metal! A great tool to have for teas, fry oil , and more! Make sure to use it with a paper cone filter as that makes sure you filter better, and keep this gadget cleaner!
